When I first encountered her, I hadn’t been Batgirl that long and wasn’t certain I could measure up to Batman’s standards. Catwoman, on the other hand, had all the confidence and style I lacked. Working with her made me realize I’d never succeed trying to imitate someone else. She showed me that I had to make my own way in the world, on my terms, no matter what anyone else expects. And though we’re likely to remain on the opposite sides of the crimefighting fence, I still owe her for that. Not that I’ll ever tell her. I can be catty when I need to.
